Additional Client Data Required

In addition to the basic employee data for each worker, we will need the following items in order to prepare your affirmative action plan.

1. Official name and address for your establishment including street, city, state and ZIP code.

2. A copy of your most recent AAP document, both statistical and narrative information. (This will be returned to you at the conclusion of our development project.)

3. Copy of your Equal Employment Opportunity Policy (If you don't have one, we will draft one as a suggestion for you based on the states in which you have employees.)

4. Name and Title of the management person to be designated as Affirmative Action Officer.

5. Organization chart for your enterprise.

6. Identification of the recruiting geographies for each job group. For example, Officials and Managers may be recruited nationally. Clerical employees would likely be recruited from the County or Consolidated Metropolitan Area.

7. When will your AAP year begin? If this is your first affirmative action plan, you get to choose your start date. Once selected, there should be a valid business reason for making a change. (An example of a valid reason for changing the AAP year is a merger or acquisition.) AAP years can run from January 1 through December 31, and if they do they are calendar year plans. They can also run on a fiscal year basis to match your accounting year, or some other business reason.

8. What will be the "snapshot" date of your employee data? In order to produce the statistical reports required in your AAP we need an employee data file that represents your workforce on a day as close as possible to the beginning of your AAP year. That might be the last workday of the previous plan year or the first work day of the current plan year. It could also be any other day. The objective is to get a picture of your workforce demographics as close as possible to the start of your AAP year. You get to pick.
