Recruiting qualified candidates is always a challenge in the best of times. All employers want the "cream of the crop." Affirmative Action employers have special responsibilities and obligations for recruiting Disabled and Veterans in addition to their efforts to entice women and minorities into job openings.

The internet offers some good resources for candidates in the Disabled category. With the job market as tight as it is, especially in high technology jobs, it is a good idea to consider sources of qualified folks you might not have considered up to now. After all, if you are like most human resource professionals, you will be a hero if you are able to satisfy the talent needs of your organization. That means you can't afford to pass up any potential source for the skills you need.

The various internet search engines can give you a host of responses to searches for "recruiting disabled" for example. However, search engines are not always smart enough to know you don't want to see web sites that are specific to a town clear across the country from your location. We have done some internet searching for you and offer you the following distilled list of sites we think you might find helpful.

While we do not endorse any of the organizations which are sponsors of the web sites on our list, we think it is easier to have someplace to begin a hunt for qualified candidates. The web sites you will find on our list are offered as examples only. There are many more to select from.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not guarantee that the following links will be active when you try them. They were valid when we assembled this list. If you discover a link no longer works, we ask that you let us know so we can update our records and this report. Simply send us an email message indicating the address which no longer works. You can direct that email to tmainc@management-advantage.com . You may be able to use a search engine to discover that there is a new web address for the same organization.

If you have other links you would like us to add to this list, please let us know. Send your suggestions to: tmainc@management-advantage.com. We want to know what services have worked best for you.
