Effective 4/30/2012 most private employers are required to post the "Rights Under the National Labor Relations Act" poster where all employees can easily view it.
The NLRA poster informs employees of their rights to organize a union, bargain collectively, strike, discuss terms and conditions of employment, and the right to refuse to participate in the activities. This poster will also address employer and union legalities to include prohibition of retaliation for exercising any of these rights. There is also important contact information included.
Nearly all private-sector employers, including labor organizations, whose workplaces fall under the NLRA, (National Labor Relations Act) are required to post the "Employee Rights" labor law notice where mandatory-to-post labor law workplace posters are typically posted. The NLRA notice must be posted in English and Spanish or any other language if at least 20% of employees are not proficient in English and speak the other language. Employers must also post the notice on an Intranet or an internet site if personnel rules and policies are customarily posted there. Private-sector employers must notify employees of their rights under the National Labor Relations Act by posting the "Employee Rights" labor law poster.
This poster must be displayed in a minimum size of 11" X 17".
This poster is required in addition to the All-On-One content.
